Janis Encapera developed the Eti-Kit program in 1998. Prior to that, she was an educator in the public schools.

Ms. Encapera’s mission is to prepare children and young adults for a lifetime of success by teaching social skills which build confidence, control and consideration for others.

Her book, Table Talk, teaches children and adults how to set a table “the proper way, every day.”

Eti-Kit has been offered through day care centers, private and public schools and colleges, Girl Scouts, Brownies, and Police Athletic League centers.
